D&H Rolled Leather Harness for Miniature Dachshunds

Our rolled leather harness made specially for the Miniature Dachshund.

It's like a figure-8 in rolled leather and adjustable at the 'tab' where the top D-ring is secured.

Lightweight but strong and pliable. Constructed in a pre-stretched polyester rope (the same rope used in racing sailboats so won't rot if it gets wet). Around this we wrap, glue and stitch the soft leather. 

Ideal for the Miniature Dachshund body shape and adjustable to ensure a secure fit around the neck (see illustration below, point A) and girth (point B). 

MEASURING

To order, please ensure you click the tick box to ADD NOTES. Enter the size A and size B and we will make the harness in accordance with these measurements. Best to take a soft tape measure and, with a snug fit (overtop the coat but no fingers underneath), please let us know the actual neck size (A) and girth (B).

The main body of the harness is made with our soft leather. The soft leather is paired with a heavier (thicker) leather where the D-ring is secured.

The list below describes the usual colour combinations. The main colour of the harness is listed - followed by its pairing with the heavier leather and metal fittings.

Light Tan - paired with Tan, brass fittings
Dark Brown - paired with dark brown, choice of brass or silver fittings
Black - paired with black, choice of brass or silver fittings
Light Grey - paired with Charcoal, silver fittings
Cream - paired with Tan, brass fittings

Red - paired with dark brown, silver fittings
Green - paired with dark brown, silver fittings
Orange - paired with dark brown, silver fittings
Blue - paired with dark brown, silver fittings
Pink - paired with dark brown, silver fittings
Purple - paired with dark brown, silver fittings

Merlot (burgundy) - paired with Tan, brass fittings
Burghley (racing green) - paired with Tan, brass fittings
Martini (light olive) - paired with Nude, brass fittings

IMPORTANT: leather is a natural product. Do not allow the chemicals from a liquid flea treatment to come into contact with the leather (if you apply liquid flea treatment, allow any liquid that has run onto the coat to dry completely before putting on the harness).
