BEST PRACTICE
At Just Barking, we are active members of The British Isles Grooming Association (BIGA).
As BIGA members we are committed to the UK Government's Best Practice Guidance for professional pet groomers, which BIGA in large part created under the stewardship of The Canine and Feline Sector Group (CFSG).
The Best Practice Guidance is to ensure high standards across the industry when it comes to animal health, safety and wellbeing. But also workplace professionalism and more.
The following link takes you to a separate window featuring the guidance, which you can download as a pdf. It is published by the CFSG:

A BLUEPRINT FOR HIGH STANDARDS
BIGA and the CFSG alongside other professional industry bodies including vets, are to be congratulated on the creation of the Best Practice Guidance.
Released in early 2025 it is the first tangible document by Government to help ensure higher standards in pet grooming. It likewise promotes professionalism within the industry. All of which helps to protect and promote your pet's safety, health and wellbeing.
